Behavioral Health Services Act County Policy Manual: Module 6 Public Comment – Closed
The public comment period for the Behavioral Health Services Act (BHSA) County Policy Manual Module 6 closed on September 3. The BHSA reforms and modernizes California’s behavioral health care funding to prioritize individuals with the most significant mental health needs and substance use disorders, with a major new focus on housing interventions and accountability.
As the final module in the series, Module 6 completes the draft BHSA County Policy Manual. DHCS is now reviewing all feedback. While this review is underway, draft Module 6 content is unavailable. Please check back for future updates, and access the current BHSA County Policy Manual.
