캘리포니아, 로스앤젤레스 카운티에서 행동 건강 관리 확대​​ 

4월 4일, DHCS와 Kedren은 로스앤젤레스 남부 지역사회에 서비스를 제공하기 위한 Kedren 남부 정신과 급성 치료 병원 & 어린이 마을의 착공을 축하했습니다. 이 혁신적인 프로젝트는 심각한 정신 건강 문제를 겪고 있는 아동과 청소년을 위한 종합적인 치료 및 지원 시스템을 한곳에서 제공할 것입니다. 이 프로그램은 DHCS의 행동 건강 연속성 인프라 프로그램(BHCIP) 4라운드: 아동 및 청소년의 자금 지원을 받으며 아동과 그 가족이 서비스를 받을 수 있도록 설계된 통합 '마을 돌봄' 모델로 사용될 예정입니다. DHCS는 오늘 행동 건강 서비스법 카운티 정책 매뉴얼 초안의 모듈 3에 대한 공개 의견 수렴 기간을 시작하고 12월에 모듈 2로 공개 의견 수렴을 위해 발표되었던 내용을 반영하는 정책 매뉴얼 업데이트를 발표했습니다. 이제 정책 매뉴얼에는 행동 건강 파트너에게 통합 계획 초안 및 최종 제출, 자금 할당, Medi-Cal 지급, 전체 서비스 파트너십, 치료 접근성 증진, 조기 개입 프로그램, 인력 교육 및 훈련에 대한 명확한 지침과 정보가 포함되어 있습니다.​​  

Once completed, the policy manual will be a comprehensive guide for counties, behavioral health providers, Tribal leaders, and other behavioral health stakeholders to implement the requirements of the Behavioral Health Services Act and support statewide reform and expansion of California’s behavioral health system. It will serve as a critical resource as counties develop their draft Integrated Plans, which will be due in March 2026.​​

의료 서비스 접근성 보호법-이해관계자 자문 위원회(SAC)​​  

4월 14일 오전 11시 30분 DHCS는 새크라멘토의 1700 K 스트리트(1층 회의실 17.1014)에서 첫 번째 의료 접근성 보호법-SAC 회의( 온라인 참가를 위한사전 등록 필요)를 개최합니다. 이 위원회는 2024년 의료 접근성 보호법(발의안 35)의 구성 요소를 개발하고 시행하는 데 있어 DHCS에 자문을 제공할 책임이 있습니다. 개정안 35에 따라 요구되는 공식적인 이해관계자 협의 절차의 시작을 알리는 이번 회의의 의제를 참조하시기 바랍니다. 또한 캘리포니아의 관리 의료 기관 세금에 대한 사실을 명확히 하고 발의안 제35호 시행이 어떻게 진행되고 있는지 설명하기 위해 DHCS는 자주 묻는 질문을 게시했습니다. 일반적인 문의 사항이나 이해관계자 회의에 대한 자세한 정보를 받으려면 이메일 (DHCSPAHCA@dhcs.ca.gov)로 문의하시기 바랍니다.​​ 

치과 매니지드 케어 전환​​ 

During the week of March 31, DHCS mailed 90-day notices to approximately 350,000 Medi-Cal members in Sacramento and Los Angeles counties, notifying them of upcoming changes to the available Medi-Cal dental plans in their county. If the member must make a plan choice because their previous plan no longer serves the county, the member will also be notified of their continuity of care protections and other important information. Members will also receive a similar notice at 60 days, which will include a Medi-Cal managed care enrollment packet, and at 30 days prior to the effective date of the changes. Additionally, in May, Medi-Cal Health Care Options will launch an outbound call campaign to members who receive a Medi-Cal managed care enrollment packet. Representatives will review available Dental Managed Care plan choices, answer questions, and facilitate enrollment in the member’s chosen plan over the phone.​​

• Chief of the Benefits Division (BD). The Chief of BD leads the development, implementation, and administration of medical coverage policies for health care services provided by the state’s Medi-Cal program. The Chief also oversees several specialty programs within Health Care Benefits and Eligibility, including Every Woman Counts, Prostate Cancer Treatment, and Hearing Aid Coverage for Children. Applications must be submitted by April 18.​​

California Children’s Services (CCS) Advisory Group Meeting​​  

On April 9, from 1 to 4 p.m. PDT, DHCS will host the CCS Advisory Group quarterly meeting (advance registration required). DHCS and the CCS Advisory Group partner to ensure children in the CCS/Whole Child Model (WCM) program receive appropriate and timely access to quality care. Agenda topics include updates on 2025 priorities, including the 2025 WCM expansion; county compliance, monitoring and oversight; and Medi-Cal Rx pediatric integration. 둘라 구현 이해관계자 워크그룹​​ 

On April 11, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. PDT, DHCS will host the next Doula Implementation Stakeholder Workgroup meeting, as required by Senate Bill 65 (Statutes of 2021, Chapter 449), to examine the implementation of the Medi-Cal doula benefit, in accordance with section 14132.24 of the Welfare and Institutions Code. The meeting will be held at 1501 Capitol Avenue, Sacramento, CA, and is open to the public. The link for this meeting will be available on the DHCS Doula Implementation Stakeholder Workgroup webpage. The workgroup will discuss ways to minimize barriers to doula services and continue discussions regarding the workgroup’s report to the Legislature, which must be posted on DHCS’ website by July 1, 2025.​​

On May 5, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. PDT, DHCS will host the Chosen Family, Part 2: Contraception and Fertility for Transgender and Gender Diverse People webinar (advanced registration required). Transgender and gender-diverse (TGD) people represent a growing subset of patient populations, but many continue to report a lack of provider knowledge when it comes to TGD health. This session will build on TGD health terminology and competency essentials presented in Part 1 of this webinar series by reviewing evidence-based recommendations for contraception, fertility, and family-building counseling. If you are unable to attend the live webinar, a transcript and recording of the webinar, along with additional resources, will be available on the Family PACT website at a later date.​​

On January 6, DHCS opened the PATH CITED Round 4 application window, which includes funding opportunities to support the implementation of the new transitional rent Community Support. The PATH CITED initiative provides funding to build the capacity and infrastructure of on-the-ground partners, including community-based organizations, hospitals, county agencies, Tribes, and others, to successfully participate in Medi-Cal. All organizations providing the transitional rent Community Support must do so in partnership with their county behavioral health department. To demonstrate this partnership, all CITED applicants planning to request funding to support the transitional rent Community Support must also submit a Letter of Support in collaboration with the county behavioral health department.​​
