Ano ang Contingency Management?​​ 

Ang Contingency Management (CM) ay isang paggamot na nakabatay sa ebidensya na nagbibigay ng mga motivational na insentibo upang gamutin ang mga indibidwal na nabubuhay na may stimulant use disorder at suportahan ang kanilang landas sa paggaling. Kinikilala at pinatitibay nito ang indibidwal na positibong pagbabago sa pag-uugali, gaya ng pinatutunayan ng mga pagsusuri sa droga na negatibo para sa mga stimulant. While CM has been tested using other sources of funding, California is the first state in the country to receive federal approval of CM as a benefit in the Medicaid program through the CalAIM 1115 Demonstration.​​

Tungkol sa Recovery Incentives Programa​​ 

Participating Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) counties will launch the CM benefit in the first quarter of 2023, in accordance with approval from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services as part of the CalAIM 1115 Demonstration. Eligible Medi-Cal beneficiaries will participate in a structured 24-week outpatient program, followed by six or more months of additional recovery support services. Individuals will be able to earn motivational incentives in the form of low-denomination gift cards, with a retail value determined per treatment episode.​​
