住房和无家可归者委员会 (HHC) 的目的是与利益相关者组织合作,影响政策并确保正在经历无家可归或面临无家可归风险的个人能够获得计划和服务。​​  

HHC 负责监督、审查、评估住房服务的提供情况以及州政府解决无家可归问题的努力,并提出改进建议。​​

  • Behavioral Health Infrastructure Bond Act of 2024 – The Behavioral Health Bond allocates $6.38 billion to develop behavioral health treatment facilities, residential care settings, and supportive housing for individuals experiencing mental health and substance use disorders in California.​​ 
  • California Interagency Council on Homelessness (Cal ICH) – Cal ICH oversees the implementation of Housing First guidelines and regulations, and identify resources, benefits, and services to prevent and end homelessness in California.​​ 
  • California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) – The California Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD) works to ensure safe, affordable housing for all Californians by providing funding, guidance, and oversight for housing programs and initiatives.​​ 
  • No Place Like Home Program – This program provides funding for the development of permanent supportive housing for individuals experiencing serious mental illness who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.​​
