The Governor’s proposed May Revision 2026–27 budget for the Department of Health Care Services totals $223.2 billion ($45.7 billion General Fund). The budget maintains the State’s commitment to protecting access to care for more than 14 million Californians while responsibly adjusting to federal policy changes and fiscal pressures.
