On September 15, 2026, DHCS released the Request for Applications (RFA) for the Scaling Dyadic Care Grant Program, a two-year statewide program under the Children and Youth Behavioral Health Initiative. The RFA outlines a grant opportunity designed to expand dyadic care, a Medi-Cal reimbursable benefit that delivers integrated behavioral health services to young children and their caregivers within pediatric primary care settings. The grant program supports eligible Medi-Cal organizations in building clinical, operational, and billing infrastructure to implement the Medi‑Cal dyadic services benefit. The RFA provides detailed information about program goals, eligibility criteria, funding tiers, application requirements, grant timelines, and expectations for participation in technical assistance and data reporting. The RFA will close on Oct 26, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. (PDT).​​

Webinar: Scaling Dyadic Care Grant Program Request for Applications (September 23, 2026)​​ 

On September 23, 2026, DHCS hosted a webinar with an overview of the Scaling Dyadic Care Grant Program Request for Applications (RFA), including California’s vision for dyadic care and the Medi-Cal dyadic services benefit. The webinar reviewed the grant program’s purpose, eligibility requirements, tiered funding structure, and application components. Webinar materials can be found here:​​ 

關於Dyadic Services​​ 

DHCS 以兩人服務為福利，自 1 月 1、2023 日起生效。Medi-Cal 會員可以透過按服務付費 (FFS) 和管理式醫療計劃 (MCP) 獲得雙人服務。​​ 

雙元服務是一種以家庭和照顧者為中心的照護模式，旨在解決兒童的發展和行為健康狀況，包括向父母/照顧者（稱為「雙元」）提供的服務。雙人服務有助於改善兒童獲得預防保健服務的機會，並提高免疫接種完成率。他們也關注護理協調、兒童社會情緒健康和安全、適齡育兒以及母親心理健康。二元服務包括以下：​​ 

  • 行為健康（DBH）訪問​​ 
  • 使用社區支援服務​​ 
  • 心理教育服務​​ 
  • 家庭培訓和輔導兒童發展​​ 

兒童（21 歲以下的 Medi-Cal 成員）及其父母/照顧者在根據明亮未來/美國兒科學院定期計劃進行行為/社交/情緒篩查評估，以及在醫療需要時進行 DBH 檢查時，均有資格進行 DBH 訪問。 Dyadic 服務是為 21 歲以下兒童及其父母/照顧者提供的綜合體健康檢查和服務。​​ 

兒童的非 Medi-Cal 合資格的父母/照顧者（21 歲以下的 Medi-Cal 會員）提供 Dyadic 服務，只要該服務是為子女直接受益而提供。 家長/照顧者可以接受特定的評估、篩查、諮詢和簡短介入服務，包括家庭培訓和諮詢。​​ 

對於 Medi-Cal FFS 會員，有關 Medi-Cal 雙人服務福利的問題應直接諮詢其主治醫療保健提供者。Medi-Cal MCP 會員應與他們的治療醫療保健提供者或 MCP 交談，以幫助他們確定雙人服務是否合適。Medi-Cal的 MCP 成員包括一個可獲取一般資訊的聯絡人，該聯絡人可在Medi-Cal管理式醫療Health Plan目錄中找到。​​
