緩和療護是為患有嚴重疾病的人提供的專門醫療護理。 這種護理專注於緩解疾病的症狀和壓力。 目標是提高患者和家人的生活質量。

加州醫療補助健康保健計劃政策：

The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) requires Medi-Cal managed care plans to have palliative care programs for members. Medi-Cal plans currently follow palliative care criteria as outlined in APL 18-020.

聯邦醫療保險 D-SNP 政策：

DHCS has collaborated with Coalition for Compassionate Care of California, with funding from the California Health Care Foundation to provide technical assistance to D-SNPs. A webinar series was created to educate California’s D-SNPs about new requirements to provide access to palliative care services starting in 2024.
