BHCIP Round 4: Children and Youth grant funding awards of $480.5 million were announced in December 2022. Through this round of funding, DHCS focused on expanding behavioral health treatment services for children and youth ages 25 and younger, including pregnant/postpartum women and their children, transition-age youth (ages 18–25), and their families.

Round 4: Children and Youth Dashboard

1. Adult Residential Substance Use Disorder (SUD) facilities are required to obtain at least one DHCS Level of Care (LOC) Designation and/or at least one residential ASAM LOC Certification to comply with license compliance requirements.
2. The Community Wellness Center facility type is primarily designated as a mental health (MH) outpatient facility though may offer services for SUD or integrated MH and SUD care.
