Medi-Cal members will have access to new and improved services to get well-rounded care that goes beyond the doctor’s office or hospital and addresses all of their physical and mental health needs.

DHCS has already undertaken several initiatives and, over the coming years, will continue to drive quality of care improvements, streamline and reduce complexity, and build upon equity-focused, data-driven, and whole-person care through:
