ドゥーラプロバイダー

ドゥーラは、妊娠中および産後1年間、個人や家族に個人的なサポートを提供します。これには、妊娠中、分娩中、出産中、産後の期間に提供される感情的および身体的サポート、および流産や中絶後のサポートが含まれます。

スタンディングの推奨事項

予防的利益として、ドゥーラサービスには、医師またはその他のヒーリングアートの認可された開業医からの書面による推薦が必要です。サービスへのアクセスを増やすために、DHCSメディカルディレクターのKaren Mark、MDは、妊娠中または過去1年以内に妊娠したMedi-Calメンバー向けのドゥーラサービスの初期セットについて継続的な推奨事項を発行しました。

このスタンディング・レコメンデーションでは、以下のドゥーラ・サービスが許可されています。

初回訪問1回。
出生前と産後の訪問の任意の組み合わせで提供できる最大8回の追加訪問。
分娩中および分娩中(死産につながる分娩を含む)、中絶または流産中のサポート。
妊娠終了後、産後3時間の長期訪問を最大2回まで行うことができます。

If a Medi-Cal member has used all of the visits for the standing recommendation, the member would need an additional recommendation from a physician or other licensed practitioner of the healing arts acting to receive up to nine additional postpartum visits. This recommendation can be noted in the member’s medical record by the recommending licensed provider, or a member can ask a licensed provider to complete the Medi-Cal Doula Services Recommendation: Additional Postpartum Visits form and give the signed form to the doula. The standing recommendation from DHCS cannot be used for additional postpartum visits. For more information regarding recommendations, please see the General Frequently Asked Questions below.

Medi-Cal Doulaプロバイダーになる方法

Doulas interested serving Medi-Cal managed care plan (MCP) members will also need to enter into contracts with the member’s Medi-Cal MCP plan. Doulas must enter contracts with each Medi-Cal MCP in their geographical area in order to serve Medi-Cal members who receive services through each Medi-Cal MCP and to receive reimbursement for doula services provided to Medi-Cal MCP members.

ドゥーラディレクトリ

The Doula Directory lists Medi-Cal enrolled doula providers by county who opted to be included in the directory. It includes their specialties, language, ethnicity, contact information, and other information that doulas shared with DHCS for the directory. DHCS updates the directory once each month.

Medi-Cal members with fee-for-service may use the directory to find a doula. Medi-Cal members in a managed care plan (MCP) should contact Member Services for their MCP to assist them in securing doula services. MCP point of contact for members can be found in the Medi-Cal Managed Care Plan Member Contact List.

The Department has enrolled 1,576 individual providers as of June 5, 2026.
