DHCS is hosting a 30-day public comment period from July 23 to August 22, 2025, to solicit feedback on the Continuing the Transformation of Medi-Cal Concept Paper. This concept paper focuses on California’s Medi-Cal transformation efforts to date and highlights DHCS’ vision and goals for the five years, starting in 2027, after key federal waivers that authorize California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) expire in December 2026.​​

DHCS는 2021년 1월 8일에 수정된 CalAIM 제안서를 발표했습니다:​​ 

DHCS는 2019년 10월 29일 이해관계자 자문위원회(SAC) 및 행동 건강 이해관계자 자문위원회(BH-SAC) 회의에서 CalAIM 제안을 공식적으로 발표했습니다. 2019년 11월부터 2020년 2월까지 DHCS는 CalAIM과 Medi-Cal이 운영되는 연방 당국의 갱신을 위해 광범위한 이해 관계자 참여를 실시했습니다. 1115 및 1915b 면제).​​ 

DHCS는 당초 2021년 1월 1일로 예정되었던 CalAIM 이니셔티브의 시행 계획을 연기하여 DHCS와 모든 파트너가 코로나19로 인한 공중보건 비상사태로 인해 발생하는 필요 사항에 한정된 자원을 집중할 수 있도록 했습니다.​​

In 2019, DHCS established topic-specific stakeholder workgroups to explore specific sections of the CalAIM proposal. While these workgroups concluded in February 2020, several new workgroups continue to meet to share feedback and learn more about CalAIM initiatives. For information about upcoming meetings, visit CalAIM News & Updates.​​

인구 건강 관리(PHM) 자문 그룹​​  

Launched in 2022, the PHM Advisory Group is comprised of cross-sector stakeholders who provide feedback and recommendations on many aspects of the CalAIM PHM program and the PHM Service. Members include a diverse set of leaders from across the state with representation from health plans, providers, counties, state departments, consumer organizations, and other groups. Specific topics for discussion will vary by meeting and will include screening and assessments, risk stratification and tiering, basic population health management, including wellness and prevention, care management, and patient engagement. While the PHM Advisory Group will be open to the public, active participation will be limited to Advisory Group members. The group will meet periodically through 2022.​​

아동과 가족의 건강과 기회를 지원하기 위한 Medi-Cal 전략​​  

DHCS는 2022년 3월 2일, 기존 및 새로 제안된 아동 및 가족 건강 이니셔티브의 공통점을 통합하고 아동 서비스에 대한 DHCS의 책임과 감독을 강화하는 메디칼에 가입한 가족을 위한 전략을 발표했습니다. DHCS는 예방 치료 및 EPSDT 기반 개선, 아동 치료 및 결과의 건강 격차 해소, 의사 결정에 가입자의 목소리를 더 잘 반영하기 위한 가족 참여, 청소년 행동 건강 위기 해결 등 Medi-Cal에 가입한 아동 및 가족에 초점을 강화하고 있습니다.​​
