The following responses to Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) provide additional guidance and clarification regarding the All Plan Letter (APL) 23-029, Memorandum of Understanding Requirements for Medi-Cal Managed Care Plans and Third-Party Entities, the Medi-Cal mental health plans (MHPs), Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) Counties, and Drug Medi-Cal Organized Delivery System (DMC-ODS) Behavioral Health Information Notices (BHINs) 23-056, 24-016, and 23-057, and the associated Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) Templates for Medi-Cal managed care plans (MCPs) that are required to execute MOUs with certain Third-Party Entities (also referred to as Other Party) required by the Medi-Cal Managed Care Contract (MCP Contract).
