Overview:
The BH-CONNECT Workforce Initiative aims to address provider shortages by supporting the identification, training, and retention of people who provide services across the full continuum of care for Medi-Cal members living with significant behavioral health needs. To expand the behavioral health workforce, the initiative:
- Equips professionals to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate care
- Engages individuals with lived experience in the professional workforce
- Provides funding opportunities to behavioral health professionals who serve Medi-Cal members living with significant behavioral health needs
