In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications, most positions within state civil service require candidates to complete and pass an examination (exam) to be hired for the state civil service classification tied to the position in which they are applying. Most exams allow candidates to provide additional information on how they are qualified for the classification. For “Dated” exams, exam bulletins are typically released during the quarter the exam is administered. Exam bulletins for “Continuous” exams are available now.
