These SPAs have been submitted, but not yet approved. The final versions may be subject to significant change.
- 26-0001 Proposes to implement the update the Current Dental Terminology (CDT) code set
to CDT-26. (Submitted on February 18, 2026)
- 26-0002 Proposes to provide direct and indirect graduate medical education payments to be made to district and municipal public hospitals participating in the Medi-Cal managed care program and their affiliated government entities. (Submitted on March 30, 2026)
- 26-0003 Proposes to disregard any increases in the total amount of resources determined available at an individual's most recent Medicaid application until the individual’s first renewal that occurs on or after January 1, 2026. (Submitted on March 30, 2026)
- 26-0005 Proposes to provide supplemental payments to eligible private hospitals in the HQAF Program that meet specified requirements and provide hospital outpatient services to Medi-Cal beneficiaries. (Submitted on March 30, 2026)
- 26-0007 Proposes to continue time-limited supplemental payments for Emergency Department physician Evaluation and Management services provided in non-academic medical centers. (Submitted on March 30, 2026)
- 26-0011 Proposes to restore Hospital
Presumptive Eligibility Program operations and authority to those established
under SPA 13-0027. (Submitted on March 26, 2026)
- 26-0012 Proposes to remove incorrect language in footnote B of Supplement 6 to
Attachment 3.1-A pertaining to additional training and qualification
requirements for Behavioral Management Consultants. (Submitted on March 19, 2026)
- 26-0013 Proposes to remove the prior authorization costs listed for Durable Medical Equipment. (Submitted on March 19, 2026)
- 26-0014 Proposes to transition the Intermediate Care Facilities for the Developmentally Disabled – Continuous Nursing (ICF/DD-CN) benefit/setting from the 1915(c) Home and Community-Based Alternatives (HCBA) waiver to the Medicaid State Plan. (Submitted on March 27, 2026)
