Driving-Under-the-Influence (DUI) Program Fees

Below are links to the data directory and DUI program fees spreadsheet.  This information includes a glossary of terms used in the spreadsheet and list of all licensed DUI programs in California, as well as approved DUI programs and ancillary fees.  DUI programs are allowed to charge only the program and ancillary fees listed in the spreadsheet.  Per Title 9, Section 9878, any changes in these fees must first be approved by DHCS.

Financial Assessments

A participant or potential participant may request any licensed DUI program to conduct a financial assessment to determine his/her ability to pay the listed program fee. DUI programs may not require participants to first enroll into the program in order to receive a financial assessment.  Based on the results of the financial assessment, participants may be eligible to pay a maximum fee of $5 per month, or qualify for a reduced programm fee or an extended payment plan.  Financial assessments must be completed within five days of request by the participant or DUI program, but not more frequently than every 30 days.  Participants may request DHCS to review a financial assessment conducted by the DUI program to determine compliance in accordance with Title 9, Section 9879.  Please direct any inquiries or complaints to (916) 322-2964 or DUIProviders@dhcs.ca.gov.
