Medi-Cal Members and Providers: If you have a question, need help, or need to report a problem, please call (800) 541-5555 (outside of California, please call (916) 636-1980) for our Telephone Service Center. DHCS' hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., except holidays. As a participant in the Medi-Cal program your feedback is important to us.
It’s helpful to have the following information available before you call us so we can get you to the right person faster:
1. The Medi-Cal Member’s beneficiary ID number
2. The last 4 digits of the Member’s Social Security Number
3. And the Member’s date of birth (2 digit month and 4-digit year) i.e. 12/1961
