As required by the CalAIM 1115 Demonstration's Special Terms and Conditions, the State must submit evaluation reports to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to determine and analyze the impacts of several demonstration programs over the course of the demonstration period. On June 27, 2022, DHCS submitted the Draft Evaluation Design for Providing Access and Transforming Health (PATH) Initiative, Global Payment Program (GPP), and Dually Eligible Beneficiary Satisfaction in the Medi-Cal Matching Process.
On December 5, 2022, DHCS received CMS comments on the Draft Evaluation Design. The due date for the PATH/GPP/Duals Evaluation Design has been formally extended by CMS to January 25, 2024.
On February 7, 2024, DHCS submitted a revised Draft Evaluation Design and letter containing Responses to CMS's December 5, 2022 Questions for the PATH/GPP/Duals and the Reentry Demonstration.
On February 28, 2025, DHCS submitted a Revised Evaluation Design for PATH, GPP, Duals, Reentry, and Draft for the Managed Care Plans Demonstration, along with DHCS and Evaluation Team Responses to CMS's June 5, 2024 Comments
