​​Stakeholder Hearing Information: Paper-Based Application Process for Medi-Cal Provider Enrollment When Online System is Unavailable

​​On February 24, 2026 from 10:00am to 11:30am, ​the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) will hold a public hearing via webinar (advance registration required) to discuss the regulatory provider bulletin on updated Medi-Cal enrollment application submission methods if the online Medi-Cal enrollment application system experiences a system-wide outage or service disruption.

Stakeholders may submit questions and suggestions during the hearing. Written comments will be accepted on the day of the hearing until 5:00pm. Based on public comments received, DHCS will publish the final bulletin on the Medi-Cal​ and DHCS websites. Changes will become effective on April 1, 2026.
