Stakeholder Information: Updated Requirements and Procedures for the Enrollment of Medi-Cal Dental Providers
On May 22, 2023, the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) held a public hearing via webinar to discuss proposed updates to the attached regulatory provider bulletin for Medi-Cal dental providers. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss new exemptions to the established place of business (EPOB) requirements outlined in California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Section 51000.60, for Registered Dental Hygienists in Alternative Practice (RDHAPs) who provide services at residential facilities, residences of the homebound, group homes, and licensed health facilities.
