BH-CONNECT Centers of Excellence: Training, Technical Assistance & Fidelity Implementation
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is releasing this Request for Information (RFI) #23-070 to gather information and solicit input from key stakeholders (e.g., consumers and consumer organizations, county behavioral health agencies, behavioral health providers, advocacy organizations, and other interested parties) on the proposed scope and role of Centers of Excellence.
DHCS proposes to establish one or more Center(s) of Excellence that would provide training, technical assistance, and fidelity monitoring for Medi-Cal specialty behavioral health providers and county behavioral health plans to implement ACT, FACT, CSC for FEP, IPS Supported Employment, Clubhouse Services and EBPs for children and youth. The Center(s) of Excellence for EBPs for children and youth will be responsible for supporting all behavioral health providers and county behavioral health plans throughout the state (58 counties). The Centers of Excellence for ACT, CSC for FEP, IPS Supported Employment and Clubhouse Services will be responsible for supporting providers and plans in counties that “opt-in" to cover EBPs for adults.
This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. A response to this RFI is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the State to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. DHCS asks willing Respondents to share nonbinding budgetary pricing information for each identified solution where requested. Pricing is only for planning purposes. Any pricing provided in a response to this RFI will not be considered an offer on the part of a Respondent.
