Request for Information #23-088
Third Party Administrator (TPA)
The Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) issues this Request for Information (RFI) to seek input from Interested Parties on contractor services to provide third-party administrative management overseeing the Encounter Data Improvement Program (EDIP), a grant program that will support Medi-Cal providers with identifying and remediating persistent encounter data reporting issues.
DHCS is looking for feedback on a draft Scope of Work (SOW) for a Third Party Administrator to manage the Encounter Data Improvement Project grant program which will: (1) identify providers requiring education and outreach; (2) identify and remediate data quality issues to improve quality in provider-level encounter data submissions; and (3) improve standardization of coding and submission of data for the purposes of implementing the CalAIM Terms and Conditions.
This RFI is issued for information and planning purposes only and does not constitute a solicitation. A response to this RFI is not an offer and cannot be accepted by the State to form a binding contract. Respondents are solely responsible for all expenses associated with responding to this RFI. DHCS asks willing Respondents to share nonbinding budgetary pricing information for each identified solution where requested. Pricing is only for planning purposes. Any pricing provided in a response to this RFI will not be considered an offer on the part of a Respondent.
Questions regarding this RFI should be submitted via email to: PCDRFI1@dhcs.ca.gov
