​Overview:

  • BH-CONNECT expands and clarifies Medi-Cal coverage of adult and children and youth focused evidence-based practices (EBPs). These practices are critical to BH-CONNECT's goal to expand access to and strengthen the continuum of community-based behavioral health services for Medi-Cal members living with significant behavioral health needs.

Key Sections:

Adult Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs): Discover the evidence-based models, including Assertive Community Treatment (ACT), Forensic ACT (FACT), Coordinated Specialty Care (CSC) for First Episode Psychosis (FEP), Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Supported Employment, Enhanced Community Health Worker (CHW) Services and Clubhouse Services.

Children and Youth Evidence-Based Practices: BH-CONNECT clarifies existing Medi-Cal coverage for child and youth focused services, including Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Multisystemic Therapy (MST), and Functional Family Therapy (FFT). View the children and youth evidence-based models.

Centers of Excellence (COEs): Offers training, technical assistance, and support for fidelity implementation of evidence-based practices as part of BH-CONNECT and Behavioral Health Transformation. Learn more about the Centers of Excellence.​
