The California Behavioral Health Planning Council (CBHPC) occasionally forms workgroups to look at special issues or issues requiring a rapid turnaround that cannot be accommodated during the regular meeting schedule.

There are currently three workgroups and one ad hoc group:

The Children/Youth Workgroup meets on Wednesday of the regularly scheduled quarterly meetings, and the Reducing Disparities Workgroup and Substance Use Disorder Workgroups meet the next day on Thursday.
