Behavioral Health Medi-Cal County Customer Services
Medi-Cal County Customer Services (MedCCC) provides California's County Behavioral Health programs a single point of contact to assist with the Short Doyle Medi-Cal (SDMC) claiming process. MedCCC is available to answer questions and address issues related to the claiming and billing for Specialty Mental Health and Drug Medi-Cal services.
Answer questions about Behavioral Health fiscal policies and procedures, including SDMC claims payment
Provide technical assistance with SDMC claims processing, including accurate and timely submission and processing of SDMC claims
Provide technical assistance with other SDMC billing and/or claim-related issues
Provide technical assistance with DHCS Application Portal and Approver Certification
What Behavioral Health programs can expect when contacting MedCCC
- An acknowledgement email response within 48 hours of receipt of the inquiry
- The most current information on individual SDMC claims

Personal and/or private information includes name, address, social security number, and any other information that could be used to identify someone, such as the geographic area, phone number, email address, date of birth, account numbers, medical condition or diagnosis, and information about the kind of care received and where and when one has received this care.
